Program Description
Many common ENT conditions can be managed at the primary health care level with the potential for decreasing the financial burden on patients, hospitals, and specialty referrals as well as improving quality and timeliness of care. Using realistic learning experiences, demonstrations, and hands-on skill building techniques, this workshop provides an opportunity for advanced level proficiency training in the flexible nasolaryngoscopy procedure.

Learning Objectives
Through participation in this educational CME workshop, participants will have an opportunity to:
- Define the indications to identify the patient who may benefit from flexible nasolaryngoscopy in the primary care setting.
- Evaluate when to refer a patient to an otolaryngologist (ENT) specialist for treatment options.
- Apprecicate the efficacy of flexible nasolaryngoscopy as a diagnostic option in the primary care setting.
- Identify the important anatomical landmarks and laryngeal structures seen during the flexible nasolaryngoscopy procedure.
- Achieve proficiency in the flexible nasolaryngoscopy procedure.
